Ingredients:
- 1 cup almond flour
- 1/2 cup chocolate protein powder
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1/4 cup almond milk
- 2 eggs or flax eggs for vegan option
- 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips (optional)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- Pinch of salt
Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking pan with parchment paper.
2. In a large mixing bowl, combine almond flour, protein powder, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
3. In a separate bowl, whisk together eggs (or flax eggs), honey or maple syrup, almond milk, and vanilla extract.
4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until well combined. If the batter seems too thick, you can add a little more almond milk.
5. Fold in the dark chocolate chips if using.
6. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.
7. Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
8. Allow the brownies to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
